What Causes Brown Discharge During Periods And Abdominal Pain?

The last two days I ve had some brownish discharge my period isn t due for another week and today I woke up in severe tummy pain almost unbearable like period pain but much worse still having brown discharge but it comes and goes. I ve experienced an ectopic pregnancy in the past which resulted in surgery I just hope that s not what this is can anyone please help me?

Hi, to answer your question it is important to do a pregnancy test to determine if you are pregnant or not. Also the brown discharge or spotting you mention could mean an implantation bleed if you are late on your periods. But it could also be normal to have mild spotting. My advise would be to visit a Gynecologist for any spotting lasting more than 2 days.
