What Causes Brown Discoloration On The Tongue Upon Intake Of Z-Pac?

Sore throat and mouth with browning on top of tongue one week after Z pac antibiotics. My doctor did not know what is was and suggested to see my ENT doctor who is out of town for the Holidays. 2 days till Christmas and hard to swallow food. Any suggestions?

Hello,

You might have a mild fungal infection after using the antibiotic. Try taking nystatin 1ml 4 times a day for 2 weeks and see how it goes.
