What Causes Brown Nasal Discharge And Frequent Nose Bleeds?
i am a 34yr old male. and i have brownish mucus coming from my right nostril and back of my throat when i blow my nose or cough it up. what could it be from. i smoke sometimes, its been going on for around 2 months and i been getting nose bleeds in right nostril at least once a week for 2 months also. im in great physical shape and never had nose bleeds before this or mucus

As per your history, it may be due to dry nose.
For that you can apply nasal saline drops locally. Alternatively you can use Vaseline Jelly locally
Along with that avoid hot and humid environment. Use humidifier
During bleeding never lie down. Press nose for 10 minutes. Avoid nose picking or forceful nose blowing
