What Causes Brown Oily Discharge From A Bartholin S Cyst?
I have a Bart cyst that I believe ruptured or drained on its own earlier today. It was an oily brown color. Didn t particularly smell foul. Just wanted to see if this is normal? I have seen multiple colors from green to pink and clear which seems ideal. Thank you

Bartholin s cyst is a collection of fluid within a closed sac. The brown color can be related to the pus accumulated in the cyst. I would recommend to follow up with your gynecologist for prescription antibiotics.
