What Causes Brown Spotting And Jelly Like Vaginal Discharge Post Medical Abortion?

Hi I had a medical abortion 7+3 days ago bled for a week and spotted a further 10 days had a ultrasound and lady said I have a few clots and this should come out on next period also mentioned how she thinks I would have a really heavy period. I had a period on week 6 however it was more of a spotting period and at times only when I wiped and was brown old looking blood I m very worried now and also today I have had jelly looking discharge quite a lot of it what does this mean with a little pain

Hello,

Since you are getting pain with jelly like discharge after abortion, you are suggested to get clinically assessed by a gynecology. Sometimes, remains of placenta or tissue when left in the uterus cause pain & bloody discharge with clots. It should be removed completely or it may cause infection & spread toxicity. Get examined by your gynecology, get treated at the earliest.
