What Causes Brown Vaginal Bleeding And Clotting While Using Depo Provera?
Hi - recently in the last 2 months or so I have been having brown clots (sometimes looks like blood) when I go to the toilet and wipe myself. I am on the depoprovera and have been for many years. Never had bleeding or clotting before up until now. Please can you advise? Many thanks Ali

Regarding your experience with brown clots of blood from your vagina following usage of depo-provera I am suggesting that you have developed an intermenstural bleeding which is one of the side effects of the use of this contraceptive
In view of this please see your gynecologist specialist for further clinical assessment and possible re-evaluation of your contraceptive method
