What Causes Brown Vaginal Discharge After A Dilatation And Curettage Procedure?

Had d and c with ablation done 7 weeks ago....no spotting or any discharge since day 3 post op. Today at 7 weeks I have brown discharge which appears to be old blood. Is this something to be concerned about? Soiled two panty liners and it seems to have stopped....

Hi, I think you should go for a ultrasound to see if there is any retained products of conception. If not, it can be due to some infections. Get yourself examined by a gynecologist. You may need some antibiotics and antifungal drugs. You may need some vaginal pessary of antibiotics and antifungal drugs also.
