What Causes Brown Vaginal Discharge After Having Intercourse?

I am 5 days late on my period & I took a pregnancy test the first day I was late because the day before that I was spotting light red blood and it said not pregnant so I thought it was stress and now my boyfriend and I had sex , once him and I were done I had brown discharge. What does this mean? & what should I do ?

I have gone through your query and can understand your concern...
Dark brown vaginal discharge after having intercourse most probably means menstruation. Actually the first time you had pink spotting that was due to bleeding from cervix. Bleeding from cervix happens when you have vigorous sex or less vaginal lubrication.
Now you have brown vaginal discharge , which should be your period. Darker vaginal discharge happens when the blood is older and not being expelled from the body quickly, this is absolutely normal.
If this brown discharge occurs for 3-6 days than you need not to worry & that is your period. If problem persist visit your gynaecologist
