General & Family Physician, Dr. Nishad BN's Response
Hi Thank you for asking HCM. I have gone through your query. Your problem can be due to infection or hormonal imbalance. You should get a pelvic examination by gynecologist and a swab test to rule out pelvic inflammatory disease or infection. Ultrasound examination should be done in case of any positive signs or uncertainty in diagnosis. Antibiotic therapy will be helpful in case of infection. If there is hormonal imbalance then combined hormonal therapy will be helpful also. Hope this may help you. Let me know if anything not clear. Thanks.
