What Causes Brown Vaginal Discharge After Taking Meprate?
Hi, I am 29 yrs old and wanted to know that last month my periods got delayed so i have undergone hcg test after 10 days of my date which was negative then I took meprate for 5 days 2 times each day then after 4 days I got my period then after 11th day of my period I had brown vaginal discharge so please suggest what is the problem now ?
As such Meprate side effects do not include brown discharge or spotting. Did you have unprotected sexual intercourse in between this duration? It seems to have some inflammation in the vaginal wall. Causes are atrophied vaginitis, noncancerous polyps or less possibly vaginal or cervical cancer. You better consult a gynecologist and get per a vaginal examination done to rule out vaginal or cervical pathology. If required get per vaginal ultrasound test, and cervical smear examination done.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards, Dr. Hiren Hirpara
