What Causes Brown Vaginal Discharge After The Menstrual Cycle?
Hi. I m 16 years old and I recently got my period. But when I went to go pee I wiped and it was bloody and liquid , like normal. Then after a few hours it keeps coming out as a very thick brown paste. No odor. And I m a Little bit nervous. Am I okay
Looking at your description it doesn't seem to be a major problem. If you are sexually not active or if there is no history of sexual activity in last 10 to 15 days than you need not to worry at all. This could be normal physiological secretion of cervix and vagina so just relax and not to worry about this.
If there is any history to recent sexual encounter than I would advise you for certain investigations to rule out infection like urine culture and sensitivity test, according to test report you may require a course of antibiotics under medical supervision. Meanwhile maintain good hygiene and have lots of fluids like fresh fruit juices and water which will help by flushing off the urogenital tract.
Hope this answers your question please feel free to ask for follow up question I will gladly answer you.
