What Causes Brown Vaginal Discharge Along With Itching And Soreness?

Hello, 2 weeks ago I was on a trip in Bali and wanted to skip my period which was due at the start of the trip so I started taking the active pills straight away. I had also done this the previous time as there was something else I wanted to skip it for. Therefore, I missed my period 2 times in a row. However, on my holiday I started experiencing brown discharge, heavy enough I was required to wear a pad. After a week my vagina started becoming itchy and now very red and sore. It s been 3 - 3 and a half weeks and it is still going. I ve searched my symptoms online but it s impossible to get a clear result of what it could possible be. I have been sexually active with the same partner for 2 years. Before the incident of discharge, we had not been active for possibly a week or more. Is there a chance I have cervical cancer or any other serious health concern. I don t think I fit any other symptoms listed when I have searched. Thank you

The symptoms seem to be related to a yeast infection. I suggest to do a vaginal swab test for further evaluation. Meanwhile, I suggest to maintain a good hygiene. I also suggest using Clotrimazole cream for local application to relieve the symptoms.
