Hello I have just got back to the UK from my honeymoon in Indonesia after getting married in New Zealand. I have been taking my pill continuously over the past 2 months so as not to have a period. I have experienced a brown discharge, sometimes a little more red for just over a week now and one day at the beginning of the week got a small amount of lower abdominal pain while swimming. I have also been taking anti-malaria tablets for the past 2.5 weeks which can affect the pill but using no other protection. Could you advise what the likely symptoms are and if I should take a pregnancy test/visit a doctor please?
