Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
What Causes Brown Vaginal Discharge And Tenderness In The Breast?
I am a 54 year old female who s last menstrual cycle was in June of 2015. I recently recovered from a yeast infection (rarely get them, but caused from wearing wet shorts after swimming) and now I have a reddish brown discharge, very tender breasts and feel like I use to when I was premenstrual. Just wondering what it could be. Thank you
If you are in premenopause you can still have the possibility of pregnancy unless you do a year without a period in order to go officially in menopause. You may do a pregnancy test. If you have not done a year without a period then there is a possibility that period may come again and symptoms may be premenstrual syndrome. If you do a year without period every bleeding may be a cause of concern.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Olgeta Xhufka, General & Family Physician
