What Causes Brown Vaginal Discharge During 15 Weeks Of Pregnancy?

Hi, I am 15 weeks and 3 days pregnant. About 2 weeks ago, I started having some brown discharge. Last night the bleeding became a bit brighter and heavier but not enough to fill a pad. I have been having a bit of abnominal pain in the middle-low part of my abdomen which comes and goes. The pain is very bereable and does not feel abnormal. I went to the doctor this morning and the baby is doing well. However, a blood clot was identified measuring 1.3 cm. I was the given a progesterone injection and prescribed Duphaston to help preventing miscarriage. I would like a second opinion about taking Duphaston. Is it safe for the baby? Should I take it or not? What are the side effects? Thank you!

HI
Well come to HCM
I really appreciate your concern, ideally medicines need to be avoided in pregnancy unless it is much important where the question of life of baby is matters then it can be taken, in my opinion better to have second opinion as long as the bleeding P/V is concern and not the medicines given hope this information helps.
