What Causes Brown Vaginal Discharge During Menstruation?
I have noticed brown flakes in my urine for the last few days. I have also had a brown discharge which has been occurring about every other month, in place of my normal menstrual cycle. I am 45 years old and have not had a normal cycle since October 15, 2017. I do not have any pain when I urinate

It can happen due to any kind of vaginal infections. There is something called missed cycles happens where there is an extrusion of the decidua and other products remain in the uterus itself causing you the condition, it is definitely normal and nothing to worry, in subsequent periods you will get a good flow.
