What Causes Brown Vaginal Discharge During Pregnancy?

Hi! I m 6 weeks and 2 days pregnant. I started noticing a small amount of brownish discharge when I wiped after a pee a few days ago.. I was alarmed, and went in for an ultrasound, where they discovered that the little fetus is alive, looks fine, and is where it should be. No problems with the cervix, etc, either. I m still getting a small amount of this brownish mucous discharge. What s the most likely source? Would the blood sneak out of the uterus even if the cervix is closed tightly? It s making me very nervous.

Hi, I think it can be implantation bleeding. So, you need to take bed rest and some progesterone supplements like duphaston orally 10mg 2 times per day or susten vaginally 400mg once. Discuss with your doctor regarding this. It will go away with time.
