What Causes Brown Vaginal Discharge Post Intake Of I Pill?
Hii me and my partner had unprotected intercourse on d 7th day of her period and she tokd ipill within 26 hours only after one day of taking pills she was discharging some brown discharge in small amount very small amount and she is worried dar she is pregnant or wt i was also confused before dt i ejaculated or nt bt den i thought leave its btr to take ipill so she tokd ipill after 26 hours and after oll dis can i get to know wt is d reason behind dis brown diacharge coming out of her vagina and after dat when we had sex her vaginal opening pains and burns wt is d reason behind dat is she pregnant her dates are on 22 january and m afraid wt can be done is she pregnant plz advice me as soon as possible
The brownish discharge could be a side effect of the ECP taken (i.e. ipill), and so there should be nothing to worry about really. But as the ipill was taken after 24 hours the chances of best effectivity with the ipill reduce by about 10%. Still the chances of pregnancy are less, and the pain and burning sensation she is experiencing could be due to various reasons like anxiety, insufficient stimulation/foreplay, or even infections from the sexual contact.
