What Causes Brown Vaginal Discharge With Smell?

Hi, I had the depo injection on 23/10 this was my first one, I have recently been getting a smelly brown discharge is this normal? I haven't had a period since I had the injection but I'm just a bit concerned on whether the discharge is normal? Thanks
