What Causes Brown Vaginal Discharge?

For the past week i have been experiencing abnormal vaginal discharge. It is the brown colored, and clots up and looks black. It has been heavier the past few days which is making me curious. I have no discomfort. My last PMS was about two weeks ago. The last time I was tested for STD s was about one week ago, and the last time i had unprotected sex was about four days ago. I have an IUD. I am 19 years old, 105 pounds and 5 feet and 3 inches tall.

Hi, I think you should go for evaluation by a gynecologist. Get a pelvic examination done. It can be a candidiasis infection or bacterial vaginosis. You may need some antibiotics and antifungal drugs. You may need some vaginal pessary of antibiotics and antifungal drugs also.
