What Causes Brown Vaginal Discharge?

Good morning, I am a 30 yr old female. I missed a whole week of birth control by forgetting them when I left on vacation but started back in once I got home. I ended up starting my period a week early, which I figured would happen but along with it was a dark brown discharge (I think it s a discharge). I have stopped bleeding but now discharge won t go away. I don t know what to do, please help me. Thank you.

Hi, I think it can happen occasionally. But it can also be due to some vaginal infection. So, better to consult a gynecologist for complete examination. You may need some antibiotic and antifungal drugs orally as well as vaginal to treat that. Hope it helps.
