What Causes Brown Vaginal Spotting After Removing A Nexplanon Implant?
I just got my nexplanon implant taken out. Before i got it taken out I had cramping, nausea and dizziness with some light bleeding. Now that its out these big clumps are coming out ever time I wipe, sometimes pink, red or brown. Also I m seeing little brown speckles.

General & Family Physician, Dr. Vasudha's Response
Hi, Thanks for the query. I understand your concern. The symptoms of cramping ,nausea, dizziness &slight bleeding before removal of nexplanon... suggest side effect ofthe in built hormone.. & it'sbeing continued after withdrawal of the implant.(for the withdrawal is mostly associated with slight bleedin only) Please don't worry...mostly the bleeding would stop after the causative hormonal imbalance is corrected .to be followed by your routine menstrual cycles. But if the bleeding becomes profuse you need to consult your gynecologist for assessment &needful specific treatment. Thanks.
