What Causes Brown Vaginal Spotting After Taking Primolut-N?
I was advised by my gyne to have Primolut-n tab as my period was delayed due to cyst. To induce periods I was advised the tab. However, after one dose I noticed brown spotting kind of stuff - its like a brown discharge but doesnot have period smell. My gyne asking me to continue with tab for 5 days and wait for 2-4 days for a light period to occur. I usually have regular period but touching 40 years, I guess this happens. I was wondering if I should continue with tab or not?

The brown spotting you experienced may be because of the hormonal changes on taking the Primolut N which contains progesterone. You should continue with the pill for five days as advised by your gynaecologist.
