What Causes Brown Vaginal Spotting Between Periods?
My period was on the 1st of November, it lasted 7 days. On the 16th I stared having brown spotting and on the 18th it was bleeding for 4 days. Heavy, but not as heavy as a regular cycle. I started back spotting on the 6th. Very light pink, then it light red. Now its enough for a pad, but the pad is not getting full in a days time. its still pink but sometimes when I wipe its light red. It'll stop out of no were and then come back. Not heavy at all, I can were the same pad all day. I've have had two dime sized clots, the rest are strings. Please help me
As a physician I would like to tell you that breakthrough bleeding in between period is not a good sign and it warrants immediate medical attention by a MD Obgy doctor. The bleeding could be due to anything like a Polyp, endometrial problem or oral contraception pills. You should visit a consulting Obgy doctor to undergo clinical examination and diagnosis.
Hope this will help you. Feel free to ask any further question.
Regards, Dr. Abhijeet
