What Causes Brown Vaginal Spotting,swollen Breasts And Abdominal Cramps?

HI. I m 25 years old and my husband and I have been trying to conceive our first child for going on a year in October. I have had very irregular periods since I was a teenager. Here as of June 5th I started a brown spotting discharge of a period that lasted about 5 days. Following that I started taking clear blue ovulation tests that had read I was ovulating.... Of course we had sex for the past 2 weeks every other day. I am now currently having very clear but watery discharge, and my nipples are staying semi-hard( never happens), swollen, very tender and kind of a different color. I have not noticed anything different as far as my areolas are concerned though. I have had some cramps but nothing over the top. I m hoping a pregnancy could be in the works but I don t wont to get my hopes up.... any thoughts? I don t really know what to look for especially since I already have irregular periods anyways.

Hello,

Brown vaginal spotting (implantation bleeding), swollen breasts and abdominal cramps may be indicative of pregnancy. If you miss your periods you should wait for a couple of days and then get blood and urine test done to confirm pregnancy. HCG appears faster in the blood than in urine. Many times HCG takes time to show up so keep patience.

You can get clinically examined by a gynecologist and get USG (Uterus) done if required to confirm pregnancy. In the meantime, you are suggested to avoid stress and anxiety, cut addictions if any. Both the partners should take food that is high in protein and minerals (calcium / iron), veggies and fruits. Avoid packaged and frozen food. Take home made nutritious food, stay well hydrated and take adequate rest.
