What Causes Brownish Discharge During Menstruation?

While making out with my to-be husband same time last month, i think there may have been a spurt of some pre-cum near my vulva, although no insertion took place, I affirm. I started with my periods from the very next day, but took an i-pill still. This month, about 5 days prior to my expected period date, I have been experiencing pinkish red/dark brown intermittent discharge. What does it indicate? Please help, sir.

Dear, why you went for an IPill when you had your periods already started? During menstruation, there are no chances of pregnancy plus you confirm the semen did not make it to vagina. Pill was unnecessary at that moment dear. It interrupted your hormonal levels possibly. Now just wait for your periods to resume. If you still have problem, consult gynaecologist. I don't think it's a major issue just abnormal period.
