What Causes Brownish Discharge During Menstruation?
Hello, I have had regular menstral cycle for over two years now. I ve recently had sex, may 22, I was expecting my period on the 24, instead of a period of red, I got a brown period. It only lasted for 3 days, not a lot of blood.. Not my regular period. Everytime I pee, I have white skin like structure. I didn t think I could be pregnant because I was so close to my period?? I took a pregnancy test, and it came up negative. I don t know what could be going on???
Hi, I have gone through your question and understand your concerns. Scanty flow during menstruation can be due to pregnancy, hormonal disturbances like hypothyroidism, uterine infection like tuberculosis, or adhesions in the uterine cavity. If the urine pregnancy test is negative, then the chances of pregnancy are ruled out. I would suggest you to consult an OBGYN specialist to get properly examined, investigated including hormonal profile, ultrasound, pap smear and get properly treated. Hope you found the answer helpful. Wishing you good health. Dr Deepti verma
