What Causes Brownish Red Vaginal Bleeding After Taking Terconazole?
I have a pretty bad yeast infection. I get them very often my doctor always puts me on Terconazole. I started using terconazole 4% last night and today I have been bleeding brownish red blood. I have used this medication before and it hasn t done that. I got off my period almost 2 weeks ago so I know it s not that. Is this normal? Is it just a really bad yeast infection? Should I stop using the medicine? In the past it s the only thing to get rid of my yeast.
Hello dear Greetings Regarding your symptom of brownish red vaginal bleeding following treatment of yeast infection with Terconazole I am sure you have developed a premature ovarian failure and this has nothing to do with your drug Terconazole
This is not normal so in view of this please do a pelvic scan and a hormone profile test to confirm the ovarian disorder and see a gynecologist specialist for further clinical assessment and adequate drug prescription
No it is not the yeast infection rather more severe infection leading to chronic pelvic infection caused by bacteria can lead to ovarian disorder
No please continue your medication for this is specifically for fungal infection (yeast)
I hope this helps Regards
