What Causes Brownish Thick Discharge In Stools And Stomach Ache In An Infant?
Hi, My 11 week old infant s stomach is grumbling and it seems painful (he cries out every time I hear a grumble.) He s had about one watery bowl movement once a day for approximately three days now. He doesn t seem to be interested in eating as he just slept through a feeding which he s never done. I changed his diaper and as I was changing him, I noticed a small amount of totally clear liquid followed by a small amount of brownish, slightly thicker liquid. On a side note, he received his first shots about 10 days ago. What can I do to help him?

Baby is 11 weeks old, a baby may pass 5 to 6 stools in a day for 1 or 2 days, this is a normal thing.
In my opinion, you should give enterogermina ampule once a day for 3 days to increase gut immunity. Take care.
