Stomach Ache With Black Stools

Hi, I have been having slight stomach pains and recently they have caused me to have this black tarry looking stool . I also started having trouble sleeping lately. I was also wondering if the stomach problems could be causes of a surgery I had last year on my gallbladder? Please help if you can.I m still going to set up a doctors appointment to be safe.

The gall bladder surgery cannot be the cause for the black stools. Black stools is due to bleeding in the gut mostly due to peptic ulcer disease. You should get 4 investigations done immediately.
1.CBC
2.Liver function test
3.Upper Gi endoscopy
4.USG abdomen
