What Causes Brownish Vaginal Discharge In A Patient With PCOS?
Hi, i m 27 years. I ve been ttc for a year, i have PCOS and i can go a whole year without menstruation. I induced menstruation in march and it came 13th march, started clomid on 15th and stopped on the 19th. Had constant sex for a month and i m yet to get pregnant or menstruate. Over the past few days, been seeing little brownish blood . very scanty though. So confused.

Brownish vaginal discharge may be due to the following:
1) In most cases, brown discharge before or after your period is completely normal and is not a cause for alarm
2) Early pregnancy
3) Birth control implant like intrauterine contraceptive device
4) Pelvic inflammatory disease
5) Sexually transmitted infections
6) Polycystic ovarian syndrome
7) Endometriosis
8) Ectopic pregnancy
9) Cervical cancer
My suggestions are:
1) Take a home pregnancy test
2) If you are not pregnant, please continue your medications for PCOS
3) Exercise daily 30 min at least 5 days a week
4) Eat nutritious diet and don't miss follow up with your gynecologist
