What Causes Bruise And Tenderness In The Left Side Of Face?

i have a bruised and tender feeling on the left hand side of my face and around the eye especially. There is no swelling or bruising just the uncomfortable sore feeling of it and I have not banged it, just woke up with it. Any ideas what this could be please? It is uncomfortable to blink.

It is may b because of you got blunt trauma to your face while you are in deep sleep. Or otherwise due to some insect bite if yo it is paining u have to visit the your family physician for further treatment.
