Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Hi, I have a small flat normal looking mole on my upper arm, about 6 weeks ago I noticed a bruise around it, as I thought I must have bumped it, I didn t bother to much, however I still have the bruise with no change in colour or size. Should I see my GP or should I leave it for another few weeks? I appreciate your advice.
Sometimes mole, if tried to scratch, may give such symptoms. If you remember that you did not scratch or it was not bumped, the reason could be serious (rarely) and meet your GP or surgeon to notice any chances of malignancy. It's important to exclude withot apprehensions.
