My left temporal area feels bruised but is not nor have I hit or bumped my head - since this inquiry costs - I ll take my chances that it s not a blood clot - I m not paying $15 for an online answer that would more than likely refer me to a doctor anyhow
Noted your history of feeling of bruised on left temporal area without any history of trauma. The commonest causes I can think about are as follows: Sinus pain being referred to the temporal area is known to occur. Vascular problems like superficial temporal arteritis can also cause this. Hypertension can cause such headache. Lack of sleep and rest. Hypertension is a known cause of headache. Viral infection of body can cause similar pains. I would advise you the following in such a situation: Consult your Doctor for clinical examination including to take blood pressure, check for thyroid, sugars and so on. Once the diagnosis is made it will be easy for management as per the cause found.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards, Dr. T. Chandrakant, General Surgeon
