What Causes Bruise Like Pain On Upper Thigh And Above Knee?
I have a bruise like pain on my upper thigh above my knee. It feels like a bad bruise but is actually causes me to limp. Hurts most when I get up from sitting but seems to feel better once I have walked for a few minutes. There is nothing showing - no redness, bruising nothing

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have bruise like pain on upper thigh and above knee. Well there can be many reasons for symptoms you mention in query like hematoma , allergy , fungal or viral infection . I would suggest you to keep site clean dry , wear loose cloths , take anti allergic like benadryl twice a day , do not apply any cosmetic product and apply over the counter antibiotics ointment . If condition doesn't get well then consult dermatologist for proper examination . Doctor will examine physically or order certain tests like skin patch test or blood test , also take sample for lab test . Doctor may prescribe antifungal , anti viral depanding upon the diagnosis along with anti inflammatory or anti coagulant in case of hematoma .
