What Causes Bruise On Arm From Wrist To Elbow?
I have a bruise on arm that I got from leaning my arm on the edge of a desk while engrossed in a movie. I ve noticed the lines of the bruise caused by the desk edge, after a week, have not disappeared, and the purple bruise around the area is spreading the length of the arm, from the wrist to the elbow. Any ideas whats going on?

The most probable diagnosis of the condition based on the description is an abrasion. You might need to apply a topical antibacterial cream like mupirocin over the affected area to prevent secondary infection. Consult your dermatologist regarding the above mentioned therapy. Regards
