What Causes Bruise On Eyelid After Doing Surgical Drainage For Preseptal Cellulitis?

What should the next course of action for 10 month old diagnosed with preseptal cellulitis. Has been off of antibiotics for about 5 days which followed an original 10 day stay i. Hospital with intravenous antibiotics and surgical drainage. I am very concerned about scarring as the eyelid is still a little droopy and still has signs of phelgmon. The eye looks bruised but not quite purple. What can I do to speed recovery and reduce chances of scarring?

You can apply cold packs to the eye to reduce the inflammation. He can also take Anti inflammatory Medicine like Syrup Ibugesic plus ONLY if he isn't on any other similar medication. Surgical drainage sounds needs time to heal. If it gets worse his Doctor needs to know as soon as possible.
