Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
What Causes Bruise On Skin, Fatigue, Weight Gain And Joints Pain?
I dont know what type of doctor to see but I bruise easily, I m extremely tired, I have weight gain, my joints hurt all the time, I can t walk up and down stairs or exercise anymore. I am not on any medications and have not changed my routine or eating habits. I really do not know where to start and just finally got insurance.
Welcome to HCM. I am sorry to hear about your condition. Congratulations on getting your health insurance! The first thing that you should do is to visit a primary care physician near your home who accepts your insurance. She/he will investigate you and treat any conditions that fall in his/her domain. They can set-up a specialist appointment for you if your condition warrants. Reading through your post, I get the feeling that you should also see a Rheumatologist, but your primary care physician will be in a much better position to recommend the specialist visit once he examines you and review your lab results. I hope this answers your question. Please feel free to contact if you have any further questions.
sincerely, Dr. Waqas Hayat.
