What Causes Bruise On The Right Foot After A Seizure Attack?

My brother-in-law who is 72 years old had what the emergency doctors determined as a grand mal seizure. He has never had one in his life. He described a wave coming from his feet through his body to the head area. Like being sea sick or air sick prior to him collapsing, and having convultions. All his test came back good, MIR, blood, urine etc. My question is when my brother-in-law had this seizure he has a severe bruise on the instep of his right foot. Can a grand mal cause this? or could the bruise cause a blood clot which travel through the body, blocking oxygen causing a seizure?

In my opinion, the bruise can be related to an injury due to a seizure.

I suggest to do some examinations to avoid other possible blood conditions.

So I suggest to do a complete blood count, platelets level, INR level.

Meanwhile,I suggest using a vitamin K cream for local application at the bruised area.
