What Causes Bruised Feeling On Side Of Head With History Of Brain Injury?
The right side of my head feels bruised. There is no bruise there but hurts to the touch. I had a brain injury 4yrs ago could it be coming from that? I haven t hit my head anytime recently and worried on why it feels bruised when I touch it, put sunglasses on or brush my hair? Please help me...
You have a history of brain injury and now feel bruised on the side of the head. It may be indicative of damage to blood vessels underneath the skin, causing them to rupture and leak blood. The symptoms may be due to some internal injury due to which you are experiencing discomfort.
You are suggested to get clinically examined by a GP or a Neurologist. Get all required blood tests and imaging (X-ray, CT, MRI, EEG, etc) tests done to detect the pathology causing you discomfort. Your treatment will depend on the the pathology detected and on your clinical conditions.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
