What Causes Bruised Shoulder And Painful Groin After An Injury?
I m 67 and took a bad fall last night my left shoulder is bruised badly when I try to walk the pain in on the left side of groin is unbearable. I have MS and take morphine and several other drugs for pain Do you think I fractured my pelvis or hip? Thanks YYYY@YYYY
Extreme pain with walking and history of recent fall at the age of 67 may be indicative of fracture neck of femur or hip joint subluxation or dislocation. It is best recommended to consult at nearest community health center for primary examination of bony part and rule out any fracture if it is there or not if required with support of a digital X-ray of pelvis with hip joints.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Bhagyesh V. Patel, General Surgeon
