hi , Welcome to HCM & Thanks For The Question I have read your question thoroughly and it seems that you had severely injured your leg and along with that you might have twisted your ankle as you said entire ankle is like a balloon and discoloring .. it may indicate localized collection of fluid and blood below the skin around your ankle (Haematoma) which can be treated with medicines and rest however you should not worry this much as this is normal after a mild injury but i will strongly advise u to visit nearby doctor to get it properly checked and to rule out if anything serious is there i hope it will become better with anti inflammatory medication and rest so see your Doctor As soon as possible I hope it helps Thanks Again
