What Causes Bruises In A Person Suffering From GERD?

my sons stomach is extremely extended. He is not able to eat without vomiting. He has had gurd for years and just recently received medication that helps. he started getting large bruise marks on his leg, stomach and chest months ago. he is scheduled for his first test in 8 days. Im now concerned about these bruises and dont think he should wait 8 weeks, he takes suboxone, and a few other meds but up until now he has refused to go for the tests. Im concerned the gurd has done major damage of cancer because of the stomach extending and not being able to eat, he has gone to the ER but they have never admitted him which I believe is a major mistake, He wants to wait for his first test 8 days but I dont know if a blood clot could also be a problem and there will be no time for tests

Hello,

It is not related to GERD. If symptoms persist, it is better to consult a physician and get evaluated.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care
