What Causes Bruises On Legs While Having Varicose Vein?

Hi I have a varicose vein at the front of my thigh and I ve knocked it today whist gardening.....it s swollen and painful when I walk (put pressure on my leg) I m 36 years old but noticed lately that I bruise very easily lately...often spotting bruises on my legs and not knowing if I banged myself!

Thank you for posting this question. I can understand your concern. The bruises are probably due to some trauma to the tortuous varicosities. You should visit a surgeon immediately . He will guide you on the further steps. In the mean time you can apply Placentrex and Hydroheal AM gel 1 hourly apart. , thrice a day for a week. This will dissolve the bruise and help prevent a venous ulcer. Feel free to post any other question.
