What Causes Bruises On The Stomach And Breasts?

A few months ago I had a few unexplained bruises on my stomach area and right between my breast and one on my breast. No pain or tenderness when I touched those areas and then they disappeared after a week or 2. I am now noticing 2 more bruises one on my side and one on my stomach again. What could this be related to. I had blood work in April and everything was fine.

Dermatologist 's  Response
Hello,

As per your case history, you are suffering from a fungal infection called Tinea corporis.

My treatment advice is:

1. Maintain good hygiene and bath twice daily.
2. Apply an anti-fungal cream like Clotrimazole cream twice daily on it.
3. Take an antihistamine medication like Levocetirizine twice daily for 7 to 10 days.
4. Other treatment options are oral Fluconazole, Itraconazole and Terbinafine taken only after consulting a dermatologist.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Harshit Bhachech
