General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello

Clonazepam is a benzodiazepine which has a lot of side effects, including skin rashes or bruising which is rare but possible.
It might be caused by allergic reaction to another product or by another condition like a coagulation disorder.
For that reason your friend shouldn't stop the treatment without consulting her doctor ,which should be as soon as possible.

Hope I answered your question
Wish your friend a speedy recovery
Best regards
Dr. Noor Farid
