Hi,

The bump and the bluish discoloration is due to a formation in the affected leg, during the mishap (collection of blood under skin). The swelling this formed is pressing on nerve supplying the leg causing you the pain and numbness.

Take rest. apply ice nag, Over the counter tab. Ibuprofen taken after food twice a day would give some relief. Total recovery may take few days. But if the pain and swelling increases / there is no improvement after 2 days he care. Consult your family doctor for assessment of the injury and the harm done followed by specific medication to relieve you.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
