What Causes Bruising And Soreness In Vein After IV?
I had an IV today for a endoscope procedure. My veins tend to move and I always inform who ever is about to stick me. When I came home and took the bandage off the back of my hand I noticed that I have a lump that appears to be bruised and it s very sore to the touch. I have diabetes and I am just a little concerned.
this is probably a collection of blood under the skin..if it is small 1-2cm it will resolve with medication ..if it is large it may need surgery for evacuation.antibiotics may given if there are signs of infection
