What Causes Bruising In The Scrotum After A Bug Bite?
My 4 year old got a bug bite on the left side of his scrotum. It swelled a little yesterday due to him itching so we gave him benadryl and some hydrocortisone cream. The swelling is gone. Tonight I noticed that side of his scrotum looks bruised...kinda a purplish color. Will this go away?

Yes it will go away and you don't need to be worried since this is normal reaction of our body to bite. Swelling and hematoma may persist for 2 weeks but it will subsequently disappear.
