Last week I had gotten hit in the shin with a line drive at my softball game... Bruised... Stiff, sore, my leg feels tight stiff... I can walk and run no problems... How long until this bruising goes away. Also on my instep of my foot severely bruised...

Thanks for posting in HCM.
Shin in front has directly skin cover. There is no muscle overlying the shin bone.
Thats why any injury to shin is very painful as it directly hits bone and causes bruising.
Bruising is bleeding due to broken capillaries and blood vessels at impact site. It takes around 10 to 15 days to absorb all of it back and get it cleared.
As you are able to walk and run there is no fear of any fracture or bone injury.
The blood mught have seeped and went to the place you specified.
So, it will take around 10 to 15 days approx to clear up the bruising.
